Great staff, great location, great...
- What did you like most?This place was absolutely perfect for what we wanted. It was a lovely hotel, very clean and well presented and in a very clean and attractive part of the city. The staff were all incredible and super helpful, it sounds stupid wording it like this but after staying in 10/12 different hotels since covid, this felt like stepping back in time as everything just felt nicer, cleaner, calmer and friendlier than what I’ve got used to in hotels over the last decade. The staff all seemed to enjoy their jobs, all super happy to be there, all super friendly and all incredibly helpful. Our room (we booked one of the king rooms) was more than spacious enough, the bed was super comfortable and huge, the shower was great and the views considering we were only on the 3rd floor were also actually quite nice. We had some cocktails in the bar on the Saturday night and the atmosphere was lovely, it felt busy but calm, and the staff were great, unfortunately I didn’t get any of their names but we were served by a youngish (early-mid 20s) black guy and he was brilliant, he was walking around chatting to everyone, making good conversation, helped recommend drinks for me and my wife, absolutely cannot complain about the place. I meant to try the gym but didn’t end up having time as we had plans. Another great factor is the 12:00 checkout time, it’s nice to not feel rushed for a change. We will absolutely be staying here again.
