Next Time, Not the Best...
- What did you like most?
  The location is excellent to get downtown to visit COSI, The Statehouse, German Village, The Ohio State University, and the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. The breakfast was well stocked, easy to access, and offered a variety of reliable family friendly options in a clean and welcoming space. The associates that managed the area were kind, polite, friendly and professional, keeping the options well stocked and the area clean and tidy. Two computers and a printer were available and very convenient to use. The lobby area was welcoming and clean. The air conditioner in the room worked well and kept the room cold. All the employees we encountered were kind, courteous, and professional. Requests for extra blankets and towels were met with a smile and quickly fulfilled.
- Was there anything you didn't like?
  The pool area was VERY uncomfortable unless your are actually in the pool. Staying on the side to supervise children was almost unbearable as the area isn't air conditioned. I understand and agree that the energy to cool such a space isn't reasonable but ceiling fans would be a welcome addition. The beds in the room we occupied were not comfortable. The sofa bed was VERY uncomfortable and the advertised queen beds felt more like doubles, and actually creaked loudly when lying down. Other reviews reported the beds were comfy but that was not our experience. We were in town to experience family friendly attractions in Columbus, and were gone each day for literally 9-10 hours. Had the pool been more welcoming and the beds more comfortable we might have taken a mid- day break at the hotel, but we filled our days away from the hotel. The lower room rate allowed us to spend more money on visiting attractions in Columbus. Although we saved money on a room we weren't in except to sleep and bathe, we did not sleep well, which made our long days enjoying Columbus a bit of a challenge. Next time we'll increase the budget and prioritize comfy beds over included breakfast.
