This 4-star hotel is in an elegant 19th-century building. Offering a peaceful internal courtyard, it is less than a 5 minute walk from both the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. Rooms at Hotel dei Borgognoni have a contemporary design and a range of modern facilities. All air conditioned, they also come with a laptop safe and an interactive LCD TV with satellite and pay-per-view channels and internet access. Wi-Fi access is available in the Borgognoni's lobby and the hotel's conference rooms. The staff has a free bike rental service and plenty of useful tourist information. Exceptional
Great location, good breakfast but...
- What did you like most?The location was perfect for a few days to see the main attractions. Walking distance to the city and a leisurely walk to Vatican City. The breakfast was enjoyable and the dining staff very friendly, courteous and helpful.
- Was there anything you didn't like?The room was comfortable but the air conditioning eliminated a strange gas odour and had to be turned off during our stay in the room. When complained to the reception we were given a strange look and told that they would have maintenance look into it. No update was provided either during the stay or at check out. Poor customer service from the reception.
