Set on Parallel Avenue, the Hotel Auto Hogar is right across from Parallel Metro Station and a 10-minute walk from the Ramblas. It includes air-conditioned rooms with private bathrooms. All rooms have a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. The private bathroom includes a hairdryer and vanity mirror. Some of Barcelona’s most popular theaters can be found within a 5-minute walk, and Montjuïc hill is a 15-minute walk from the hotel. The Fira Exhibition Centre is just over half a mile away. The Auto Hogar Hotel’s restaurant serves Mediterranean dishes, and is open 7 days a week. The hotel also has a café. The hotel front desk provides free newspapers, and can arrange bike and car rental.

Great Location and Nice Hotel
- What did you like most?The hotel was clean, well kept and very easy to navigate. Elevators were very small, but that is expected in older retrofitted buildings. Room was a triple, so it was basically 2 rooms with a bathroom; 1 double bed in Room 1 and 2 twins made up as a queen in Room 2. Rooms were clean and linens/towels were okay (clean, but worn). The kettle with tea and coffee in the room was nice. No issues with noise, but our room was on the back side of hotel. Our windows opened to the back side of the hotel, where we could only see the backs of other building, no view at all, but quiet since we were no on the street. The overall breakfast buffet was OK, but not really to our tastes, but it was hot, available and stocked. Not really worth the add on price.
- Was there anything you didn't like?The mattresses were VERY HARD and not very comfortable. The eggs (both fried and scrambled) were not good. The fried eggs were very rubbery and the scrambled eggs were very, very wet.
