Located 2 blocks from the Locust Train Station and the historic Rittenhouse Square, this boutique hotel features 24-hour concierge service, nightly turndown service, and rooms with plasma flat-screen TVs. The accommodations at Rittenhouse 1715 are equipped with free Wi-Fi and iPod docking stations. They offer traditional décor and marble bathrooms. Some rooms are furnished with fireplaces. Tea, coffee and pastries are served daily at this smoke-free Philadelphia hotel. The Franklin Mortgage & Investment Company hides behind an unmarked door through the lobby, it caters to a crowd that favors dark corners, low light, Coltrane tunes, and come-hither cocktails. The front desk is open 24 hours a day. Thomas Jefferson University and the Benjamin Franklin House are one mile from Rittenhouse 1715. Independence Hall is less than 10 minutes away by car.

Decent enough room but disappointing overall.
- What did you like most?The room was spacious and clean. The location's proximity to Rittenhouse was great, we were able to explore the area on foot. And the lobby dog was adorable.
- Was there anything you didn't like?The room was directly under a staircase (no elevator at the hotel) and we were woken several times in the night by guests stomping up and down the stairs. Also, the room was at street level so that was an extra layer of noise. The hotel bar was not accessible through the hotel, you had to exit the front door, walk several doors over, and then enter the bar which was truly inconvenient. There was no minibar in the room, and none of the clocks were set to the right time. For the price, this did not meet my expectations in any way.
