Rome Cavalieri, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel offers 2 red-clay tennis courts and an 800-yards fitness trail with Technogym facilities. Its Grand Spa includes a Turkish bath, saunas, a stylish room with an indoor swimming pool and a fireplace. - Was there anything you didn't like?Many of the facilities were not available to us during our stay as the hotel had almost, but not quite entirely, been taken over by a large corporate event whose people were loud, louche and at times bordering on obscene in their behaviour No access to the main pool, the breakfast and restaurant terrace and on the final day no access to the one remaining outdoor terrace Bar area unusable due to the behaviour mentioned above In fairness the hotel acknowledged the problem and agreed in future that they should notify guests in advance if facilities are being withdrawn, they also compensated us for the lack of facilities with a partial refund It rather spoilt our trip but hopefully lessons will be learned for the future because it is a lovely hotel in a super location
