The Gem of Ko Chang
- What did you like most?The hotel feels like a part of Ko Chang which, sadly, won’t last forever. It is privately owned and does not feel like a corporate hotel. It feels genuine and is a fantastic value. The beach is the gorgeous and perhaps the best on this section of coast. Our room had a premier view of the water. The staff is lovely, helpful, and nice. Breakfast is delicious. Location is well situated and you feel like you are on a private island and beach except for operation on street behind hotel which is weird and sometimes loud if you get too close. Proximity to rest of town and commercial district is perfect. The hotel is recovering from the pandemic era and undergoing renovations but this work did not affect our visit. We loved this place.
