The boat does not sail every day and the restaurant is only open when the boat is sailing (please contact us in advance to find out the opening days). Unclean beds, small and grimy rooms, ok location, costs more than a nice hotel room close to sites.
- What did you like most?The staff was nice but no one was at the desk at night when I wanted to leave- my room had been serviced but when I pulled back the covers, the sheets were gross and had clearly been slept in. The room was in bad shape (toilet was dislodged from wall, bathroom floor was sunken in, wall paneling was old and moldy).
- Was there anything you didn't like?We booked rooms here because the VIP Yacht hotel does nightly cruises on the river. We did not find out until after check in that they were not cruising the night we were there, though the rooms were still very expensive. The location is not very safe for walking at night (it is by a homeless encampment). The staff would not allow entry for our car to the area so we had to carry our bags a long distance. It was very unclean and grimy, the rooms were small and old.
Disappointing and underwhelming
- What did you like most?Location was in a poor area with homeless people under a bridge. One had stolen a ladies purse and had tipped it out and was counting what was in it.
- Was there anything you didn't like?Very cold room, had to sleep in my coat and kettle didn't work. Overpriced for what and where it is.
