There are several other nice hotels just around the corner.

• What did you like most?
  It is a glorified youth hostel with a sort of decent overpriced breakfast. The street coming in is filthy and the pathway to go to the Diocletian Bath (right next to it) is also dirty, garbage, weeds, broken fences, etc. We had their nicest suite with a large balcony. However, our balcony was separated by the adjoining balcony and room by a plant (not kidding) so no security whatsoever. Our Jr. Suite was a painted cement floor (not kidding again) with a second sleeping area that consisted of a twin sized plastic covered hard foam bed with absolutely no bedding (once again, not kidding). Best guess is that this hotel is a repurposed factory/asylum/office complex and is very institutional (I think they were aiming for a minimalism concept except that it turned out to be an overpriced youth hostel. Sorry, Hotel Camplus, your staff is very nice but your hotel is hard, cold feeling and uncomfortable and overpriced.

Basic hotel at a convenient location near the train station

• What did you like most?
  The staff was great. The hotel was clean. Our room had a private terrace with a wonderful view to watch the sunset over Rome. The location is a very easy walk from the train station.
• Was there anything you didn't like?
  We stayed in a junior suite which was advertised as having a separate living room with a sofa. The "sofa" was really a twin bed with a plastic cover and no pillows or back to lounge on.
