Adequate But Not Awesome.
- What did you like most?The hotel has a great bar on the top floor. The location is close enough to downtown but far enough away from the train and nightclub action to be spared the 5 am train rumble and whistle and college town weekend revelry that is a problem at closer in properties. The room was very clean as was the hotel generally. The staff we interacted with all were courteous.
- Was there anything you didn't like?No one at the front desk told us about the wonderful bar on the top floor so we ended up at first having a drink at the very poor downstairs bar. On several occasions the front desk staff were absent, including at prime check in time at 5 or 6 pm on a Friday. It wasn’t super long, but frankly unusual from my experience for the front desk of a major hotel to have no one there. And one of two elevators to the rooms was out all weekend - which was actually how we discovered the 7th floor bar which has a dedicated lift.
